Will you have access to my SharePoint?

Only while you're signed in, and only to your recycling bin. We use delegated permissions — an OAuth flow where you sign into your own Microsoft account, approve the app, and Microsoft hands us a short-lived token that lets us act on your behalf, limited to what your own account is allowed to do. We never see or store your Microsoft password. When you disconnect or your session expires, the token is discarded.

Can I use credits and Unlimited across multiple tenants?

Yes. Credits and Unlimited both live on your account, not on a specific tenant. Buy 10 credits today, spend them on whichever tenants you connect — contoso.sharepoint.com this week, fabrikam.sharepoint.com next. Only the free trial is per-tenant, to stop bad actors rolling new accounts.

What counts as one restore?

One click of “Restore selected” or “Restore all matching”. That single job restores as many items as you selected and only consumes 1 credit, regardless of size. (Free trial is capped at 5 items total, one-shot.)

Does Unlimited auto-renew?

No. Unlimited is a one-time $300 charge that entitles you to unlimited restores for 365 days. When it lapses you can buy it again or fall back to credits. No automatic billing.

Can a restore fail?

Sometimes. The most common reason is that the destination no longer exists, because SharePoint requires the parent folder to be in place before it will put an item back. Download the per-item CSV report on any finished job to see which items succeeded, failed, or were skipped and why.

Do I pay to download my recycling bin?

No. Connecting, downloading, searching, filtering, and paging are always free for every tenant. You only pay to start a restore job.

Does permanent delete cost a credit?

No. Permanently deleting items from Stage 1 and Stage 2 is free on every plan, including the free trial. Type DELETE to confirm, and the job cascades stage-1 items through to full removal. Gone means gone, only your tenant's own backup can bring them back.

Is the CSV report free too?

Yes. Every restore job and every delete job produces a downloadable CSV listing each item, its outcome, and the message from SharePoint. No extra charge, available the moment the job reaches a terminal state.
